On-demand, web-enabled Clinical Data Extracts
Timely, validated access to interim raw and analysis data sets is essential for proper safety and efficacy monitoring in clinical trials. ThotWave developed a web-enabled system on the SAS® BI Server platform to allow biostatisticians to generate audited extracts of clinical trials data from Medidata Rave, including proper CFR 21 Part 11 controls.
CDISC Integration
ThotWave created a custom extension to SAS® Enterprise Guide to simplify the creation of submission-ready CDISC data structures from clinical trials data.
Modern Clinical Programming Architecture
For a global Clinical Research Organization, ThotWave architected and rolled out a platform to support international collaboration on clinical studies, including data management and statistical programming.
Web-based Disease Registry
For a large pharmaceutical company, ThotWave created and operated NRMI (National Registry for Myocardial Infarction), a web-based registry for patients with acute ST-segment-elevation Myocardial Infarction. The collaborative portal allowed researchers, physicians, and healthcare administrators access to information on patients and outcomes, giving them richer access to information that could change their patterns of care.
Biomedical Research Platform
For the Ocular Hypertension Treatment Study (OHTS) at the Washington University in St. Louis Medical School, ThotWave helped create a clinical trials research platform. ThotWave's architecture and mentoring services began with a strategic roadmap which defined options and requirements for validation and CFR 21 Part 11 compliance. During development a ThotWave consultant partnered in the creation of web-based case report forms and facilities to analyze results, helping to grow the technical capability of university staff as the application was created.
Real-time QC analysis
For a large manufacturer of diagnostic equipment, ThotWave developed a system to collect and analyze QC data from equipment in the field, providing early warning of quality concerns and maximizing uptime through proactive maintenance.
Sales Force Optimization
ThotWave has partnered with many customers in developing technology solutions to support effective territory alignment, compensation schemes and effectiveness monitoring. These include architecting a commercially available SFO suite for a large data aggregator, and working directly with Life Sciences companies to create intelligence solutions for pharma sales and marketing.
