thinking data® Enterprise ARM Implementation

Centralized SAS® System Monitoring for the whole enterprise environment has become a necessity in order to prove ROI, increase reliability and guard against inefficiencies and misuse. This task of monitoring the enterprise SAS environment is no simple matter though. It's not uncommon for the SAS environment to utilize a range of inconsistent hardware and operating systems scattered geographically around the world. Additionally, the user base is growing and there is a never-ending increase in the sources and volume of data. There is a need to be able to look at the whole and then drill into the details of the environment. Currently, the best mechanism to provide both high level and detailed information on this environment is to enable the SAS Application Response Measurement (ARM) tool.

The framework is built on our proven methods and experience. Starting early in the planning cycle, our objective is to help you understand the opportunities to modernize tools and processes, as well as to deliver a validated system in a cost-effective and controlled way. The end result is an implementation that is commercially supported, scalable, extensible, and demonstrates "right to operate."
