- FUTS - Framework for Unit Testing SAS programs. Inspired by testing frameworks such as JUnit and NUnit, FUTS allows SAS programmers to write repeatable test code to test their own work. The core of FUTS is a SAS macro library of assert functions. The assertions allow developers to create tests that compare macro symbols, data sets, and files produced by their SAS code. FUTS also comes with a perl script for batch execution of test suites, automating the process of running tests and reporting results. FUTS is available under an open source license.
- thinking data® Event System - to monitor SAS jobs in real time and add a robust framework for automated testing and real-time notification. The event subsystem allows users to subscribe to events. The event management sub-system coupled with the data viewer (metadata console) makes real-time viewing of all activity on the dashboard and SAS programs (batch or real time) available, even before the SAS job is finished running.
- ThotWave Metadata Explorer - for managing SAS or non-SAS data in a Windows Explorer-like interface. Key benefits include the ability to browse or edit data without locking anyone out of the data sets. This robust application provides the ability for authorized users to browse and even edit data using a standard thin client. Based on a tree-view analogy, nodes on the tree represent data that is available to the user. The user can view data in tabular form or in a form-based view-all using lightweight, browser-based access. If granted, data can be edited, new rows added or deleted. Data Access objects allow complete audit trails to be written for security and rollback procedures.
- thinking data® toolkit for Business Intelligence - a suite of tools designed to seamlessly fit with your existing technology assets. Our BI Toolkit includes portal integration, common security management interfaces, and leveraging existing data stores, while it allows for the tight integration of Java and SAS for web-based exploitation of information.
- thinking data® toolkit for Data Warehousing - a compendium of specific tools that provides an integrative approach to managing environmental issues and data artifacts often found in a large-scale SAS implementation. This Toolkit includes libraries of tools and macros for data management, analysis, reporting and graphics.
- Admin Console - allows users to be added and modified, encryption levels to be set, groups to be defined, and application roles to be mapped to either users or groups (or both). In addition, the administrators of the system can provide data access levels so that users can be mapped based on their role in the organization.
